FLUTE UPDATE ist das Flötenheft der Reihe Neue Musik für den Anfängerunterricht, die in Zusammenarbeit mit der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien entstanden ist. Namhafte Flötistinnen und Flötisten haben hier 15 erfrischende und abwechslungsreiche Neukompositionen vorgelegt, die alle Aspekte des Flötenspiels für die ersten Unterrichtsjahre mit einbeziehen. Neue Klänge, jazzige Rhythmen, neue Spieltechniken und perkussive Elemente sind einige der stilistischen Merkmale. Die beigelegte CD mit allen Stücken erleichtert den Einstieg zusätzlich.
FLUTE UPDATE is the flute booklet of the serial New Music for Beginner Lessons, developed in collaboration with the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. In this edition, well-known fiutists and composers are presenting 15 bracing and varied new compositions covering all aspects of flute playing for the first tuition years. The stylistic features include new sounds, jazzy rhythms, new playing techniques and percussive elements. The attached CD containing all pieces provides additional help for the beginning.
